Ethical Management


HLB Global's Human Rights Policy is based on the United Nations Guiding Principles(UNGPs),
the International Declaration of Human Rights, and the International Labor Organization (ILO) agreement.
HLB Global strictly follows the ten Human Rights Policies with the aim of respecting
and protecting the human rights of various parties, including employees and partners.

Chapter 1. Prohibition of Forced Labor

None forms of forced labor in hiring employees shall be allowed. All tasks shall be voluntary, Employees shall be free to retire at any time without penalty if they give reasonable notice of resignation according to the contract.

Chapter 2. Prohibition of Child Labor

No employment of children under 15 shall be allowed. When legally hiring employees under 18, they shall be provided with a special care for training opportunities and safety.
The employees under 18 shall be prohibited from working night, overtime, or doing other work that poses a health or safety threat.

Chapter 3. Prohibition of Discrimination

Any unfair discrimination shall be strictly prohibited in employment, promotion, wages and compensation, benefits, etc. due to gender, age, sexual orientation, gender, nationality, disability, marital status, religion, political orientation, union membership, etc.
Also, we shall strive to build an organizational culture that respects diversity, equity, and inclusion of employees.

Chapter 4. Prohibition of Workplace Harassment, Sexual Harassment, Sexual Violence

Any kind of harassments, including sexual, mental or physical coercion, public shaming, or use of abusive words shall be strictly prohibited.
In particular, we shall strive to prevent sexual harassment and sexual violence in the workplace using the superiority of status or relationships.
Victims of harassment, sexual harassment, and sexual violence in the workplace shall be able to report the damage through an anonymous grievance channel, And we shall conduct a neutral investigation into the case and take measures to protect the victims. All reporters shall be anonymous and any unfair treatments of reporters are strictly prohibited.

Chapter 5. Ensuring Freedom of Association and Collective Bargaining

The right of association and collective bargaining shall be respected, which is guaranteed in accordance with the labor law.
Employees’ activities of forming and joining labor unions shall be respected, and any unfair treatments or discriminations relevant to the activities are prohibited.
In addition, the right to collective bargaining through employees and employees shall be guaranteed, and the right to collective bargaining shall not be rejected without a justifiable reason. The results of collective bargaining derived through mutual agreement shall be respected and faithfully implemented.

Chapter 6. Ensuring Pay and Benefit Coverage

All applicable payroll laws, including laws on minimum wages, overtime pay and legal benefits shall be complied with. In addition, necessary measures such as support for capacity development shall be actively implemented in order to improve the welfare of employees.

Chapter 7. Management of Work Hours

Employees' work hours shall be strictly managed so that they do not exceed the maximum working hours stipulated in the Labor Law. Work hours shall not exceed 52 hours a week and all overtime shall be voluntary.
We will work more actively to manage employees' work hours.

Chapter 8. Ensuring a Safe Industrial and Working Environment

Employees shall be provided with a safe and healthy working environment. For this purpose, the facility and equipment shall be regularly inspected and managed, separate safety equipment and safety education shall be provided to employees who work in dangerous working environments.
In addition, vulnerable workers such as pregnant women and the disabled shall be guaranteed the support and measures necessary for smooth work.
We are committed to providing timely and appropriate compensation for employee's work illness and workplace accidents.

Chapter 9. Supply Chain Management with Due Responsibility

The Sustainable Management Practice Agreement shall be established and complied with, to enable business partners to practice human rights management.
We are planning to have operating principles and practice agreements with our partner companies.
We will continuously monitor and support the current status of human rights management of partner companies and take necessary measures such as requesting correction in the event of serious human rights violations of business partners. We promise to respect and protect the intellectual property rights of our business partners.

Chapter 10. Protection of Personal Information

The minimum user personal information shall be stored, and the obligation to notify users in advance of personal information storage to be strictly complied. Customers are free to manage, modify, and delete their own information at their own will.
Our company will establish security measures to prevent personal information leakage. In addition, we promise to continue to make efforts to implement human rights management through regular reviews on the human rights policy and human rights risk management.
We will continue to do our best to comply with corporate social responsibility and human rights norms and implement human rights management for various stakeholders.
